Helping Those In Need This Holiday Season

This year WakeMed is celebrating the holidays in a slightly different way.  Since the economy has been slow to recover and there are so many in need in our community, we are hosting holiday socials at each location with a charity component to each one.  Charity beneficiaries include the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, Interact and WRAL Coats for the Children.  In fact, yesterday we hosted our first holiday social at Cary Hospital and collected coats, hats, gloves and undergarments for WRAL’s Coats for Kids.
